Connect50 Employer Participation Form

Introduction

This form is for organisations across Ballarat, Bendigo, Geelong and Latrobe Valley to express their interest in engaging talented university and TAFE students with disability through the Connect50 project.

Connect50 is an internship scheme in regional Victoria that matches talented university and TAFE students with disability with paid roles in local businesses. It is a unique opportunity for these businesses to connect with talented university and TAFE students with disability and realise the benefits of a more diverse and inclusive workforce. For students, it’s a chance to gain vital work experience during study.

Engaging with Connect50 is simple. We’ll find talented students with disability and assess their eligibility. We’ll manage student and workplace briefings, provide ongoing support during the placement and assist with the feedback process once the internships are complete.

Connect50 is a project managed by the Australian Network on Disability (AND), which is a national, member-based, for-purpose organisation that makes it easier for organisations to welcome people with disability in all aspects of business. Since 2005, AND has facilitated hundreds of internship opportunities for students with disability across the Australian workforce.

To nominate yourself or a colleague as a Connect50 supervisor, please complete the form below.

Please note: Connect50 internships are paid placements. No voluntary positions will be accepted.
